Welcome!

Welcome to the Bananarama Beach House.  Our family has been coming to the Destin area for years, and we are excited to welcome you to our home located in Seagrove Beach.  Located in the heart of scenic 30A, Bananarama is located a short walk (560 feet!) to the beach and is a short bike ride to restaurants, activities, and fun (Seaside is only 1.5 miles away).  We know it is difficult to find the right rental home, and we hope this website will help provide you with helpful pictures, maps, and area websites. 

In addition to the house specifics (4 bedrooms, a bunkroom loft, 3 full baths, private heated pool, and 3 parking spaces), we also would like for you to know that we have outfitted the house with extras to help with your decision, including beach toys, pool floats, ice chest, beach cart, beach umbrella, free movies via Netflix, books, games, pack'n play, high chair, wireless internet, and other items we hope you will enjoy.

New in 2012:  In a constant effort to keep our home up to date, and to provide our guests with the most comfortable environment we have improved a number of things in 2012 for the 2012/2013 season, including a new air conditioner, new mattresses, and a redecorated decor.  We will be making investments each year for yours and our enjoyment.  Check it out and see.

Rental Policies

Reservations. Advance reservations are encouraged and can be made up to one year in advance. Reservations will be completed through our Property Manager. 

Rates.  Rates are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to correct rates that may have been misquoted during a telephone conversation while booking or due to computer error.

Additional Fees. A non-refundable damage waiver fee of $85.00 will be charged to all reservations. A housekeeping fee will be applied to all reservations

Taxes.  A total of 11.5% tax will be collected on all rentals located in Walton County.

Advance Deposit. A minimum deposit of 50% of the total rental rate is required within 14 days of booking. Any remaining balance is due 30 days prior to arrival. For reservations made 30 days or less from the date of arrival, total balance is due at time of booking. Deposits not received within 14 days will result in cancellation of the scheduled booking.

Damage Waiver Insurace. A non refundable damage waiver fee will be applied to your stay in lieu of a security deposit, each tenant will be required to purchase damage waiver insurance at said price stated above and broken out on your deposit request/rental agreement form. This waiver fee will cover any unintentional damage up to $1500. Due to MasterCard and Visa regulations lodging partners are no longer allowed to charge tenants registered card for damages done and reported during or after the tenants stay.

Payment. We gladly accept cash, personal check, money order, cashiers check, or credit card (Mastercard, Visa, Discover, and American Express) for payment of rents. There will be a $75 fee for all returned checks.

Cancellation. It is strongly encouraged to purchase CSA Travel Protection Insurance. If you choose not to purchase CSA Travel Protection Insurance, you may only cancel 90 days prior to scheduled check-in date and receive a refund of the advance deposit minus a $75 cancellation fee.

CSA Travel Protection Insurance. Travel Insurance is available through CSA. A fee of 6.5% has been automatically added to every booking unless notified in writing that you elect not to participate. CSA Travel Insurance Policy

Hurricane Policy. No refunds will be made due to Tropical Storms or Hurricanes even in the event of mandatory evacuations. Some guests may be allowed to reschedule dates depending on specific property and scheduled date. Refunds for Hurricane evacuations are only given via CSA Travel Protection Insurance.
Refunds. No refunds will be given for late arrivals or early departures.

Check-In. Guests will be allowed to enter a specific property only after it has been cleaned. Normal check-in is 4pm. In some cases, you may be asked to wait until the rental unit has been cleaned and not be able to check-in until after 5 p.m. If you will be arriving after normal business hours, please call ahead of time to arrange for a late arrival.   In some instances, early check-in may be available for a nominal fee.

Check-Out. Guests are asked to vacate all rental units no later than 10:00 a.m. on scheduled departure date. Please leave the property in neat condition, take out all trash, and clean all dishes. If property is left excessively dirty, guest will incur additional cleaning charges.

Family Rentals Only. All rental units must be occupied by an adult, over the age of 25. We do not rent to vacationing singles or students that plan to be unsupervised by a PARENT! Reservations made under false pretense will result in immediate cancellation and/or eviction with NO refund. Parents are not allowed to check-in and leave, they must stay at the property throughout the duration of the scheduled stay.

Minimum Stay. One-week minimums do apply for most properties during peak season. All properties require at least three nights minimum stay. Weekly rentals will be scheduled for Saturday arrival/departure.

Housekeeping. All linens and towels are provided for each rental unit. Linens and towels are not to be taken from unit to be used on the beach. A starter supply of bath tissue, paper towels, and garbage bags are also included. Guests are responsible for their own paper goods after initial supply is depleted.

Maintenance. In order to receive the best possible service, please report all maintenance issues immediately during normal business hours. Maintenance issues are handled in the order that they are received.

Pool. Our pool can be heated seasonally for an extra daily fee. Currently this cost is $35/day, but please inquire as to the latest price as this cost might fluctuate due to fuel costs to heat the pool.

Pets. Pets are not allowed.

Smoking. Smoking is not allowed indoors, but ashtrays will be provided for smoking outdoors.  Please properly dispose of cigarette butts prior to departure.

Keys. Upon check-in, you will receive keys and any other required passes, arm bands, etc.The exact number of keys must be returned at check-out. If all keys are not returned you will be charged $15.00 for every key that is missing. In the event you are locked out after normal business hours, you will incur a fee of $50.00 and a Property Manager's representative will assist you.

Personal Property. Property Manager will not be held responsible for any personal property left in rental unit.

Subletting. Reservations are not transferable.

General Information. Be a good neighbor, remember that each rental property is owned by an individual and should be treated with the same respect as your home. Please abide by all noise ordinances, parking instructions, and all local homeowner's association requests (all homeowner's association rules and bylaws supersede that of Property Manager).
